Game update 1.2: Save Game System, Episodes reveal + Episode 1 sneak peek!
If you're reading this, it means game update 1.2 is now live! It adds an actual Main Menu, complete with its save/load game system and settings screen!
We're also ready to reveal how new content updates will work! Outscore will have an episodic structure, with the demo now available serving as its prologue. New episodes will be released in a bimonthly schedule, starting with Episode 1 for which we are targeting an August 1st launch.
The release schedule will look like this:
- Today: Prologue - Completed
- August: Episode 1
- October: Episode 2
- December: Episode 3
Finally, we'll leave you with a short glimpse of what you can expect in Episode 1. Having reached the Industrial Sector, Alex will have to navigate a new part of the city filled with opportunities to improve one's score... possibly at the cost of ethical compromises. Of course there's always a different path available to those unwilling to participate in such an authoritarian system. The Steel Union might be able to lend a hand, but the system has its claws deep beneath the factories and downtrodden offices of Nova City. Episode 1 will immediately take you to different places depending on how you managed to escape the slums of San Mateo, continuing and expanding on the branching story line of Outscore.
